We had a great time this past weekend at Silverstone racecourse watching the British Superbikes speed around the track trying to finalise their status towards the end of the season.
Action Cameras was there in style with our flags flying high and showing off the new ATC5K and other cameras off to the bike fanatics. We were literally swarmed by people wanting to learn about the cameras and then to buy one for themselves or for their friends, we couldn’t have predicted the interest in our cameras, especially the top sellers of the weekend; the ATC5K and the POV.1 Action Cameras.
Surprisingly enough, one of our new releases the Angle Eye cam was very popular too for the bikers who all wanted something that was easy to mount, good quality and easy to hide if they got into trouble
It was also great to meet loads of past customers at our stand and also to make new acquaintances. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success - and the good news is that it looks like we’ll be seeing you all again in two weeks for the final of the BSB at Brands Hatch. Can’t wait!
Today’s White Air festival Video is very impressive.
We’ve hooked up the BBR Monster mini Dirt Bike team with a POV.1 to record their very original show.
They were turning in a giant ball of steel and then doing some nice freestyle jump with their bike.
Action Cameras had a huge party at the White Air Festival this past weekend down on the Isle of Wight.
We had a trade stand there but spent loads of time rigging up all the professional extreme sportsmen and women. Everyone’s favourite camera set up was definitely the POV.1 which was really easy to use and delivered top quality.
With all this new footage from all these different extreme sports it is taking our editing team quite a while to sequence it and edit it into a brilliant summary of the weekend -
We hooked up kite-surfers,
motorbikes in a steel ball,
land boarders,
Skateboarders,
thundercats,
Jet skis,
BMXer’s, spring stilters, and loads more…
just wish we could have kitted out the RAF Red Arrows for the Air Show!

The Good: The ATC5K has a 1.5 colour screen for lining up shots and reviewing footage, the buttons are easier to use, it has a wireless remote control and it is still as tough as ever!
The Bad: The remote control works with IR and not with radio frequency, and the menu is not very intuitive.
The Action Cameras Bottom Line:We clearly noticed the higher quality in the picture and were impressed with the photo images. The screen is a first for these all-in-one cameras and we love it. The remote is also a terrific innovation that we found to be quite handy. Overall, it is the best value for money action camera yet.
