With this years TT already having kicked off on the Isle of Man – the island with no speed limits – we are excited to be up there for our second year in a row. After the excitement of last years races, we’ve now got the TT fever!
With helmet cameras now becoming a must-have biker accessory we are expecting to see heaps more of them out on road this year, and not only on the racers but on everyone’s bikes. If you haven’t got yours yet then this is the perfect time to come visit our Action Camera tent behind the grand stands in Douglas because we’ll be offering some amazing TT specials.
This years event will be the biggest, most subscribed and most entertaining. The mix of steep slopes, high speeds and obstacles will make it an awesome series.

Some of the most exciting video footage coming from the 2010 Winter Olympics is being delivered by the helmet mounted action cameras riding on board with the Olympians. This is giving spectators around the world a first hand point-of-view angle on what it is like to be in the Winter Olympics.
As you may have seen in the exciting Ski Cross Events, the helmet cameras on the competitors helmets aren’t like anything that you can currently buy, these systems are complex high-end helmet cams used by production companies with loads of high tech gear. They get the videos ready within seconds to be played back as action replays. This type of set up may be ideal for you if you are willing to part with a few thousand quid.
For those of you still wanting to capture your action sports on camera and who’re looking for a more reasonably priced on board action camera, we have the answer for you. Visit www.actioncameras.co.uk to check out the best selling helmet cams on the market – well all the ones which won’t break the bank.
Mike Catt, Rugby World Cup Winner and coach of the London Irish premiership team went on a search to find an innovative way to improve his backlines ability to see what he can see. The answer came to him in the form of the X170 Action Camera. Now he can review each play from
the player’s point of view.
“It’s just brilliant” was Catt’s comment when first watching back Chris Malone’s point of view after a quick run around on the pitch. Catt and game analyst Richy Whiffin are going to use the X170 Action Camera in training sessions throughout the season so we’re hoping this can contribute to their continuing success.
For any of you planning a last minute rush to get your loved ones a helmet camera, please be sure to get your orders in before 3pm on Tuesday the 22nd. Anything after that can’t be guaranteed to arrive in time for the celebrations.
Best Wishes
The Action Cameras Team

What a fantastic line of business we are in when we can shut up shop early, shoot off down to the Go-Karting track and write it off as product testing! After the first Action Cameras go-karting showdown there’s been endless banter back and forth about who’s going to win the next race! Yesterday the team headed down to the track to finally put an end to this…
Seven of us from the UK office (sorry Pierre but you’ll have to come over from France next time) took to the track with tension building. The race was on! Two 15 minute races with a break in-between to talk it up some more, unfortunately Veronica didn’t make it to half-time as she had to be pulled off the track for dangerous driving!
As we finished the final lap the results were released to show two winners… Yes, after all this, two winners; one for fastest lap – well done Warrick, and the other for best average speed, good work Robin. But still, having two winners leaves so much unanswered! Oh well, we’ll just have to have another day of product testing. Bring it on!
After running for 26 years the Weston Beach Race has become one of the biggest races across Europe and is know as the climax to the Summer season! Action Cameras will be there to make sure the riders get all the thrills of the races on film, from their own point of view!
