This morning Action Cameras received UK’s first stock of the High Definition GoPro cameras! If you’ve pre-ordered then you’ll receive one of UK’s first GoPro HD’s tomorrow, those of you that haven’t… watch this video…
GoPro has taken the leap into the realm of high definition, having just received our first GoPro HD Motorsport Hero we are really excited to present this unboxing review which has been done by an independent reviewer, Svengalie of YouTube fame.
The person sliding along the ground was the rider of the motorcycle with the camera that was crashed into. Not sure how he came off. His left leg was fractured. Perhaps he was stunned by the pain…..and fell off? The white bike did not crash and continued along. The rider of the white bike said that he was not at fault and that the owner of the camera bike swerved into him……the video shows differently.
Remember to protect yourself by recording while riding. For those in the U.K. check out ActionCameras for your recording needs.
In the near future I plan on getting a setup from them to constantly record while I ride. You never know when you’ll need a camera on your vehicle.

Robbie Maddison performed a no-handed backflip as he jumped the gap between the north and south side of the bridge at 0255 BST. The guys from BikeChannel.com took the brand new Desmosedici RR from Ducati out for a test spin around Donnington Park Race Track to see how the Desmo RR should be ridden! With Vito Guareschi taking it to the max it was a good thing that we had a few VIO POV1.5Action Cameras mounted around the bike to give a real-life perspective of what it feels like to hit these speeds around a world class track!
While there are still four more days of the Isle of Man TT remaining, it is easy to say that Action Cameras has had a fantastic time up at the event! Over the past week we have enjoyed spending time with all of the racers and spectators alike who are all up there to enjoy the racing and to take advantage of the one-way road system up over the mountain where absolutely anyone can take their bike to the limit without having to worry about speed limits.
The Action Cameras stand has been continuously surrounded by bikers who were either entrigued by the action cameras or those who had returned to our stand to play back their footage onto our big screen in order to show all their mates what speeds they had been reaching and how low they were taking those treacherous country road corners!
Without a doubt our highlight of the event so far has been organising for Valentino Rossi’s bike to be set up with one of our VIO POV1.5 Action Cameras! He arrived with a police escort, did one lap around the TT course with our POV1.5 on his bike and was soon after flown back out of the event. Keep an eye out for the footage here and also on ITV. Another highlight was having the Maxxis Babes on our stand showing off the POV1.5 Action Cam.
We couldn’t have hoped for a better time and for more interest in the cameras then we have had, already now when you watch all the riders going around the course we can spot a good number of them sporting a brand new helmet camera! They are all loving it and we are loving the fact that they are loving it!
With a just a few more days remaining of this years TT we are looking forward to kitting out at least a few more riders with Action Cameras and to also enjoying the rest of our time up here on the Isle of Man.
Thanks for all the riders who have made it such a success for us this year, we’ll be seeing you again next time. Remember to keep sending us your footage!
